My name is Kristy Mary, also known as The Wandering Artist.

 

I’m a self-taught artist & illustrator from Australia. I’m a traveller, with a love for folktales and their connections to culture and communities across the world.

If there was one thing I could do, and I will try, it would be to illustrate in a way that others can see what I see. The unusual yet mesmerising patterns that emerge in everything created on earth. The colours, the way that everything just flows.

 

It's such a magical thing that imagination itself exists, and that I get to share my creative mind with the world. It's not just my journey.
